The Sustayn app (the "App") is operated by Sustayn Ltd, which helps travellers find and book sustainable accommodation within the United Kingdom. These Terms apply to all users of the App.

2. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the App, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

3. Services Provided

The App allows users to:

  • Find and compare eco-friendly places to stay in the UK
  • Book and pay for accommodation
  • See the estimated carbon footprint of a trip, and plant trees to offset it
  • Manage bookings and view trip details
  • Share trips with other members on Green Feed

All services are subject to availability and may change without notice.

4. User Responsibilities

  • Ensure all personal information you provide is accurate and up to date
  • Respect your hosts, fellow travellers and local regulations during your stay
  • Do not use the App for unlawful purposes or in any way that may harm the service or other users

5. Bookings and Payments

All bookings must be paid in full at the time of booking unless otherwise stated. Prices are shown in GBP and may change before you book. Cancellations and refunds are subject to our Booking Policy.

6. Intellectual Property

All content within the App – including images, logos and text – is the property of Sustayn Ltd or its partners. You may not copy, reproduce or distribute any part of the App without written permission.

7. Limitation of Liability

We strive to provide accurate and reliable services. However, we are not liable for:

  • Travel disruption or closures due to weather, strikes or other force majeure events
  • Injuries, losses or damages during your trip unless caused by our proven negligence
  • Errors or inaccuracies in information provided by accommodation providers or other third parties

8. Privacy

Your personal data is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy. By using the App, you consent to the collection and use of your information as described in that policy.

9. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after any changes means you accept the revised Terms.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be handled by the courts of that jurisdiction.
